HRT WLB is also one of the best in the industry. They have a high bar so that they know the people they hire can finish/do the expected amount of work in a reasonable time. All the people I saw during my virtual onsite seemed pretty chill. I'd say working as a SWE at Amazon would on average be a lot more stress than algo dev at HRT.

They are less than Leetcode - easy. I was able to get a brute force solution for 2/3 but yeah, I found it really difficult.Generally if you want to chase money, you need to move to a smaller firm which has higher revenue/employee. HRT and JS hire a lot of Core Dev / Quant SWE. Algo Dev / Trader / QR is still a beast, and it's the position that pays 550k+ new grad.
