After installing a game wherever you like (main memory or SD card) all you need to do is locate the actual game exe (if you want) and either create a steam shortcut using lutris, or indeed add the exe as a non steam game. I am launching TS4_x64.exe with forced proton experimental, it's the fitgirl repack version with all DLCs and packs, pre-cracked. Maybe try reinstalling if using the same exe with exp. proton won't work.

I do know Steam Deck uses proton. Compatibility and runs Linux. So things that run natively on Linux should be fine. Just keep in mind they may not be optimized for Steam Deck so there may be problems. Sounds like a fun adventure though. Wish I could justify buying one this year. This is an issue with DLSS. You can turn DLSS to off, (It renders the game at a lower resolution in order to try and keep framerate higher, when the framerate dips. The issue is, the framerate dips every time to load a different section of the map, so the resolution tanks. I personally play with DLSS off, DLAA on at 1080p.To change the language just go into your game folder for me it is D:\Elden Ring\Game and open up the steam_emu.ini file.
